CCS Colts
As part of a comprehensive Christian education, CCS offers coeducational athletic programs for students in grades K-12. The athletics programs at CCS emphasize the significance of nurturing both body and spirit, instilling faith, character, and sportsmanship. Whether our students are playing football, volleyball, basketball, or running cross-country, they may be engaged in different sports, but their ultimate goal remains the same.
Christian Community School is classified as a Class 4A school and is affiliated with the TSIAA (Tennessee State Independent Athletic Association) for all sports except football. In football, CCS competes in the SEEC (Southern Extreme Conference). From the field to the court, CCS provides a diverse range of opportunities for students to thrive in athletics.
Mission & Values
The mission of Christian Community Schools is rooted in the belief that “For God’s Kingdom and His glory, we TRAIN-UP children in the WAY they should go, the TRUTH they should know, and the LIFE they should live,” as stated in Proverbs 22:6. We fulfill this mission through our unwavering commitment to Christ’s teachings. Primarily, CCS is a place dedicated to TRAINING students to GUARD their hearts, RENEW their minds, GOVERN their bodies, and SANCTIFY their spirits. We place our trust in His teachings, submit to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and believe in the transformative power of the living Holy Spirit. Consequently, we take to heart Christ’s Greatest Commandment: to love the Lord with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength (Mark 12:30).
Championship Sports Program
Since day one, Christian Community School has offered a competitive sports program to our students. We have multiple options, including football, basketball, volleyball, baseball, softball, soccer, cross country, and cheerleading available to appeal to students and fans alike. CCS has been a proven contender in all our sports programs, with the following championships: National 8-Man High School Football Champions in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2011, 2012, & 2017, State Champions in 2018, and Middle School State Champions in 2019 & 2020; MTAC Boys Basketball State Championship in 2008 and 2012; Volleyball MTAC High School Conference Champions in 2018 and TSIAA Conference Champions for both Middle School and High School in 2020; Baseball State Champions in 2018 & 2019. For over a decade, Christian Community School has had a winning tradition that extends beyond the classroom and into our sports program, bringing the thrill of competitive athletics to the lives of our students, their families, and the community.
