We had a great practice today. Coach and I wanted to thank everyone for a great kick off week to the season. The team is looking great so far and we have so much talent t this year. While we are very excited about that, we also want to always keep our true focus on the one who loves us best, Jesus. We handed the girls sunflowers today as a reminder to always look to the Son when we feel weak, tired, frustrated, anxious or overwhelmed. Just like a sunflower, we lift our heads and face the sun, and in our case we turn towards Jesus. It’s the simple reminders we hope to keep instilling throughout our team culture this year. With some potential weather coming in tomorrow and no working AC as of today in the gym, I will make the final decision on open gym tomorrow at 11:30 am.
